These are
éclairs (litteraly, "flashes of lightning"). It's a common french pastry, but they're usually around 10 cm long and the three basic flavours are chocolate, coffee and vanilla.
I've baked these ones for the
Spring has Sprung contest of
Handcraft-Artist.
I wanted to do something different and spring related so my éclairs are 3 cm long and filled up with fruit curd. Also, instead of the classic cream icing I made caramel using the juice of the fruits. You have, from left to right : lemon, kiwi, orange and red currants.
